Nomination submitted for UCCA election

Some 6 candidates have submitted nomination papers for the chairman and vice chairman positions in the management committee election of Kulaura Upazila Central Cooperative Society(UCCA).
6 candidates have submitted nomination papers for the post of Director.
Candidates submitted their nomination papers to Assistant Returning Officer of Elections and Assistant Inspector of Upazila Cooperative Office Subrata Pal from 11 am to 3 pm in Kulaura BRDB office on Thursday.
Saifur Rahman Saiful, President of Moulvibazar District Multi-Faceted Cooperative Society, current Vice Chairman of the Management Committee of Kulaura Upazila Central Cooperative Society, journalist Md Tajul Islam, former vice chairman Saiful Islam have submitted nomination papers for the post of chairman.
Ruhul Amin, President of Norton Farmers Cooperative Society, Kabir Ahmed, President of Kudalipar Farmers Cooperative Society, Kamal Ahmed, Manager of Bade Bukshimail Farmers Cooperative Society have submitted their nomination papers for the post of Vice Chairman.
Ismail Hossain, president of Madhyakaula Farmers Cooperative Society, Syed Siddiqur Rahman, manager of Itahari Farmers Cooperative Society, Jaseem Ahmad of Dakshin Ronchap Farmers Cooperative Society, Fakhrul Islam, manager of Dakshinbhag Farmers Cooperative Society have submitted nomination papers for the post of director.
Bagajura Association President Minara Begum, Kharpara Women’s Association Sapna Begum submitted nomination papers for the post of Women Director.
Md. Shafiqul Islam, Deputy Assistant Registrar of Moulvibazar District Cooperative Office, is in charge of conducting the election.
District Cooperative Office Inspector Md. Faiz Ahmed and Upazila Cooperative Office Assistant Inspector Subrata Pal are in charge as members of the management committee.
Fazlul Haque Fazlu, Chairman of the Management Committee of Kulaura Upazila Central Cooperative Society was present at the time.
The election of Kulaura UCCA Limited will be held on October 2.
