Longadu police organize awareness meeting

With a view to making a safe society, Longadu Upazila police administration organized an awareness meeting at Longadu Government High School involving the students of class nine and class ten of the school.

On behalf of the police administration, Mohammad Iqbal Uddin, officer-in-charge (OC) of Longadu police station delivered speech as the chief guest in the meeting styled ‘Beat policing bari bari, Nirapod Shomaj Ghori.

Upholding some negative impacts of unsafe society, the OC urged the students to resist early marriage, eve teasing, drug, gambling, juvenile gang, and woman and child repression.

He promised the audience the police would always stay beside the people working for making a safe society.

Rajib Tripura, the headmaster of Longadu Government High School presided over the meeting held on September 4 at the school premises.
