Khasruzzaman, Mohammad Hossain elected president, gen secy of South Bengal Lawyers’ Council in Dhaka

Shah Md. Khasruzzaman and Mohammad Hossain have been elected president and general secretary of South Bengal Lawyers’ Council in Dhaka in its biennial election (2023-2024).

A total of 132 office bearers, including the president, general secretary, and members were elected unopposed in the election of the organisation held at the Supreme Court Lawyers’ Association Building in the capital, according to a press release.

Elected vice-presidents are Shamsul Jalal Chowdhury, Suraiya Begum, MA Rob Howladar, Kazi Shahana Yasmin, AKM Akhtar Hossain, AKM Shafiqul Islam (Swapan), Md. Nurul Islam, Md. Shamsul Alam, Md. Ghiyas Uddin Ahmed.
