Musicians Bappy and Shakil’s successful journey with Ankhi Alamgir

Ankhi Alamgir is proud of the country’s music scene.

The music lovers of this country are constantly fascinated by Ankhi renders songs. She is still unchallenged, especially in stage shows.

This popular singer went on to perform in a stage show in London the year after the release of her first solo album titled ‘Bisher Banshi’.

There she found Partha Pratim Bappy as her first keyboardist.

Since then Bappy has been in every show of Ankhi Alamgir, be it in
the country or abroad.

On the other hand, Mehedi Hasan Shakib is regularly with Ankhi as an Octopad player for more than 12 years.

Basically Ankhi is totally dependent on Bappi and Shakib for her
stage shows. Ankhi can’t even think of doing a show without them.

Recently, Ankhi Alamgir has performed excellently in stage shows in Belgium, Paris, Venice and London.

Before that, she visited India, Mask, Nepal and Hong Kong this year.

It should be said that Ankhi was out of the country with the stage
show most of the time this year.

While talking about Partha Pratim Bappy and Mehedi Hasan Shakib, Ankhi Alamgir told this correspondent, “As people they are both very transparent.

They are two white people. I go on the stage and they were musicians. Other than that they are both my family the rest of the time.

Wherever I went, I treated them with equal dignity and respect. As musicians they are a hundred a hundred.

They both care for me very much.

There are various types of hostile environment in various shows in the country and abroad.

At that time they both worked as my shield.

So, I have a lot of respect and love for them. I want to walk with them in the future.”

While talking about Ankhi Alamgir, Bappy told this correspondent, “In short, Ankhi Alamgir is a golden-hearted person.

She can easily adopt everyone. That 1998 till today has the same relationship with her only because of her big heart. Her mind is as big as the sky.”

Meanwhile, Ankhi Alamgir said that she will go to Canada for a stage show coming winter.

She will perform at Cox’s Bazar on September 6 and a stage show in Dhaka on September 10.

After that, when her eldest daughter comes to the country, Ankhi will travel abroad with her daughter.
