Youth commits suicide in Sherpur

A Youth committed suicide at Bakakura village in Jhenaigati upazila of Sherpur district on Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Rabi (15) son of Hamer Ali at Bakakura Ashraya project in Jhenaigati upazila of the district.

Rabi was older of the two children of Hamer Ali.

Police and local sources said, on Sunday afternoon, Rabi comes home from outside and closed the door of his house.

His parents were not at home at that time.

The younger sister was also outside in school.

Rabi’s parents came home from Ashrayan project at about 5 pm and found the door of the house closed from inside.

They suspect it and peeped through the window and saw the dead body of Rabi hanging and cried out.

Hearing their crying, the neighbors come forward and informed the police.

On getting the information, Police arrived there and broke the door, recovered the hanging body and reported it.

It did not learn the real reason why Rabi committed suicide.
