Info minister raises eyebrows at BNP leaders’ overseas trips

Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud on Sunday questioned whether the BNP top leaders had gone overseas to hatch any conspiracy quoting medical treatment.

“I have seen that three BNP leaders have gone to Singapore.

Newspapers are writing whether this is for treatment at all or some kind of conspiracy.

The three leaders went to Singapore at the same time.

There are a lot of questions,” he said at a meeting at the National Press Club on Sunday.

Amidst the ongoing movements carried out by the opposition BNP, aiming to topple the Awami League government, several of its top leaders are not in Bangladesh.
