The best duo of this time in the playback of Bangladeshi movie songs, Kona-Imran, is going to the United States together for the first time to participate in 10 consecutive stage shows.

Both Imran and Kana confirmed the matter yesterday.

They told this correspondent that at 10:30 tonight, Kona and Imran are leaving for the United States on a Qatar Airlines flight with four member musicians of their team. In the United States, Dallas, Washington, Florida, Texas, Atlanta, Los Angeles and some other states they will perform in 10 stage shows.

This journey of a whole month will begin with Imran and Kona’s song performance at the first stage show in Dallas
on September 3 and they will return in the first week of October.

About leaving the beloved family for a long time and going out of the country and doing shows in the United States, the National Film Award-winning artiste Dilshad Nahar Kona told this correspondent, “Leaving the family and going out of the country for a whole month, I feel a little bad.

But there is also the matter of exaltation or joy because I am going to USA after 10 years.

There are many others, including my Romana, Mona, whom I will meet after a long time.

They are also eagerly waiting. And this is Imran and my first musical tour in the United States.

So, I am saying with respect to the dear expatriate Bangladeshis, we are impressed by their sincerity.

It is because of them that we are going to the United States to give them joy.

To tell you the truth, we could have gone to show in the USA, especially me and Imran.

But we wanted to take our respected musicians there.

I feel better because that dream has been fulfilled.”

National Film Award winning singer Imran Mahmudul told this correspondent, “Before this, I did a stage show at the same stage in London and Australia.

As we have several super hit duet songs, if there is a request for a duet song in the stage show, we are very happy to perform it.

As usual, I hope this time will not be an exception, Inshallah. After eight long years I am going to America.

I hope this journey will be very happy and memorable Inshallah.”

It is noted that the musicians accompanying Kona and Imran are Sajal Kumar Saha on drums, Jahangir Alam Joni on bass guitar, Abhijit Chakraborty on lead guitar and Qayyum on keyboard.
