Yesmin Labonno to release Nazrul song on Nat’l Poet’s death anniversary

Nazrul song titled ‘Naiba Pelam Aamar Golay Tomar Golar Har’ is going to be released in the voice of singer Yesmin Labonno on August 29 on the occasion of the death anniversary of the National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam.
While talking in this regard, Yesmin Labonno told this correspondent, “On the death anniversary of our National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam, I will dedicate this song as a tribute.”
The singer informed that she completed a five-year certificate course at BAFA in Nazrul Sangeet and later took a one-year training in Nazrul Sangeet under Salauddin Ahmed.
Later, she also took training from Asit Dey.
But currently she is unable to take training from anyone due to work pressure.
A few days ago, Labonno completed her master’s in Music from the University of Development Alternative (UODA).
She stood first in the first class at master’s. That is why at this moment she is very excited.
While sharing her feelings in this regard, Yesmin Labonno told this correspondent, “The song is my absolute favourite.
I like to sing song very much.
That’s why I did my master’s in Music even though I did Honors in English Literature from East West University.
I am very happy to be the first in the first class.
This love is not really expressed in words.
But I want to do M.Phil in Music or master’s in English.
Let’s see what Allah does.
But I want to do the song regularly.
In this case, I want to move forward with everyone’s cooperation.”
Yesmin Labonno has been working as a dancer at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy for the past nine years.
But she also likes the presentation very much.
Meanwhile, the singer has already completed works of her three new original songs.
