Police arrests one with 18000 pieces Yaba in Lohagara

In Chittagong’s Lohagara police raid, eighteen thousand pieces of yaba were seized along with a motorcycle used for smuggling.

The operation was conducted in front of the Chunti Range Forest Officer’s office on the Chittagong-Cox’s Bazar highway at 11:15 on Wednesday, August 23.

Detained Md Imran Khan (29), son of Nashir Khan of Ward No. 8, Baidyarghona Union, Cox’s Bazar Sadar Police Station, Cox’s Bazar District.

His present address is Sheikhpara, Kalghar Bazar, Ramu Police Station.

It is known from police station sources that Chittagong District Superintendent of Police Mr. SM Shafiullah BPM led the operation under the leadership of Lohagara Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Rashedul Islam along with the forces of Lohagara Police Station SI(N)/Mahfuzur Rahman.

Officer-in-charge Mohammad Rashedul Islam said that a case has been registered against the accused under the Narcotics Control Act and he has been sent to the learned court through proper police escort.
