Man held for threat of spreading awful pictures of female

A man name Md. Imdadul Hossain Imon (22) was arrested by 2nd Armed Police Battalion (APBN) on Tuesday night for threatening to spread offensive pictures of a female colleague on the Internet.

According to APBN sources, Md. Imdadul Hossain Emon was working as a sales man at Japan Garden Tokyo Square Market in Dhaka for the past four years.

The victim woman was working as a salesman in the same shop.

Eamon lost his job about 2 months ago.

After losing his job, he gets angry with the victim and collects pictures from the victim’s emo ID, edits them in an obscene manner and sends them from the victim’s messenger ID to the “ChattiKagarJagat” messenger ID.

Later the victim called the National Emergency Service “999” to seek legal help and report the complaint. Based on the complaint, a team of APBN arrested the accused.

The arrested accused was handed over to the Hazaribagh Police Station on Wednesday and a case was registered against him under the Pornography Control Act.
