Dashing opener Tamim Iqbal has started his practice.
The left-hand opener took part in his batting practice at the BCB-NCA Ground, which is adjacent to the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in the city’s Mirpur on Sunday.
Tamim Iqbal last played against Afghanistan in a One Day International (ODI) match against Afghanistan at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on July 5, 2023.
After that Tamim Iqbal faced many problems. He stepped down from the captaincy of Bangladesh ODI Cricket team.
He had been suffering back pain. Later, he went to London, the capital city of England and took injections there as a medication of his back pain.
After that he took part in a leisure for a few weeks. As he had a injury he was not included in the 17-member Bangladesh ODI squad for the upcoming ACC Asia Cup.
Then he took part in the warm-up sessions and also started for his fitness at the SBNCS. On Sunday, the southpaw began his batting practice.
