6,500 dengue patients detected in Sylhet

The number of dengue patients in Sylhet has exceeded 650. In the last 24 hours, 9 more dengue patients have been detected in Sylhet.

With this, the number of infected people stood at 666. According to the Sylhet divisional office of the Department of Health, from Monday (August 14) to Tuesday , 9 more dengue patients have been detected in the Sylhet division.

Out of 9 newly infected people, 6 are admitted in various hospitals in Sylhet, 2 in Habiganj and 1 in Moulvibazar.

According to Sylhet Divisional Office of Health Directorate, 150 patients affected by Aedes mosquito bites are admitted in various hospitals of the division.

Out of which 37 people are admitted in different hospitals in Sylhet, 3 people are admitted in Sunamganj, 106 people are admitted in Habiganj, 4 people are admitted in different hospitals in Moulvibazar.

In the last 24 hours, 20 dengue patients have recovered and returned home.

With this, a total of 516 dengue patients in the department recovered and returned home.
