DMP arrests 60 for consuming, selling drugs

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) in separate raids has arrested 60 persons for consuming and selling drugs in the capital.

Teams of different police stations and detective branch conducted the drives from Thursday 6am to Friday 6am in the capital, a DMP release said.

Police recovered 9,334 yaba tablets, 56 grams of heroin, 113 kilograms of ganja and 29 bottles of phensedyl from their possessions.

A total of 39 cases have been lodged with concerned police stations in this regard.
