Upazila health complex faces anti-rabies vaccination shortage

The problem of stray dogs has increased in Ishwardi. Stray dogs are roaming in groups across the upazila including the municipality.

Stray dogs are walking in groups on the streets, neighborhoods and courtyards of houses. Besides humans, cattle are frequently affected by dog bites.

Due to the shortage of vaccines in the upazila health complex, the affected people are not able to get treatment. Pedestrians and students are now suffering from dog fear.

There is no government or local initiative to control these stray dogs.

As a result, various diseases including rabies are increasing.

It can be seen on the surface, Dozens of bewaris day and night at various road junctions of the municipality including Ishwardi Bazar, Railgate, Railway Booking Office, Railway Station, Malgudam, Hospital Mor, Bakuler Mor, Ambagan, Alhaj Mor, Shershah Road, Post Office, Chand Ali Mor Karkarapara.
