Hathurusingha resumes his duty

Head Coach of Bangladesh Cricket team Chandika Hathurusingha has resumed his duty. Chandika Hathurusingha arrived in Dhaka on Wednesday after passing a long leisure.

Hathurusingha came at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in the city’s Mirpur on Thursday.

He discussed with the Chief Selector of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Minhajul Abedin Nannu, Selector of the BCB Habibul Bashar and Selector of the BCB Abdur Razzak Raj.

After that, He conducted the practice sessions with the members of Bangladesh preliminary cricket squad at the SBNCS. His son also accompanied with him.

The BCB has two days to announce the Bangladesh Cricket squad for upcoming ACC Asia Cup.

The BCB has not yet announced the Bangladesh Cricket squad for the forthcoming ACC Asia Cup.

As Chandika Hathurusingha returned to Dhaka, the BCB consulted with him and took his opinion.

The President of the BCB Nazmul Hassan Papon will announce the Bangladesh Cricket squad for the ensuing Asia Cup.

Papon will also reveal the name of the captain of the Bangladesh Cricket squad for the imminent Asia Cup.

Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan, wicketkeeper-batter Litton Das, prolific all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz are the candidates for the post of the skipper of Bangladesh Cricket squad.

Meanwhile, dashing opener Tamim Iqbal also came at the SBNCS on Thursday.

He took part in his solo practice session there. It may be mentioned that Tamim Iqbal will not take part in the Asia Cup as he has been suffering from back pain for five to six months.

Though the members of Bangladesh preliminary cricket squad have not yet started their official practice yet, most of the cricketers took part in their practice sessions yesterday under supervision of Chandika Hathurusingha.

It is noteworthy that son of Hathurusingha was busy during the practice session of Bangladesh preliminary cricket squad yesterday.

He worn the practice jersey of Bangladesh Cricket team during the training session. He had also a notepad in his hand

So, a question is arisen that if he will be a member of coaching staff of Bangladesh Cricket team.

But the Team Management of the BCB told to the newsmen that Hathurusingha’s son came with his father for informal task. He just came at the training session to watch the work of his job.
