249 seats vacant in HSTU admission test

Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University (HSTU) has completed the first merit admission of undergraduate programme. It was held in under eight faculties of the university. The first merit admission started from last July 23 (Monday) and ended on July 26 (Wednesday).
Meanwhile, the total number of seats excluding quota in HSTU is 1405.
In first merit about 1156 students (82.28 percent) confirmed their badmission. So the number of vacant seats is 249.
Analysis told, under Science Faculty of HSTU, 50 students in Mathematics Department, 38 students in Physics Department, 52 students in Chemistry Department and 50 students in Statistics Department have secured their initial admission.
Besides in the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering, 32 people have been admitted in the ECE Department, 30 people in the CSE Department and 33 people in the EEE Department.
On the other hand, 61 students have been admitted in the Faculty of Fisheries, 240 students have been admitted in the Faculty of Agriculture and 67 students have secured initial admission in the Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Science.
Under the Faculty of Engineering, 39 students have been admitted in the agricultural and industrial engineering department (AIE), 35 students in the food and process engineering department (FPE), 21 students in the civil engineering department (CE), 23 students in the mechanical engineering department (ME) and 22 students in the architecture Department.
In the Faculty of Social Science and Humanities, 61 people have completed admission in the English Department, 51 in the Department of Sociology, 55 in the Department of Economics and 30 in the Department of Development Studies. 41 people have been admitted in the accounting department, 41 people in the management department, 41 people in the marketing department and 43 people in the finance and banking department of the business studies faculty.
