Reunion of BAUET held

The English Department of Bangladesh Army University of Engineering and Technology (BAUET) in Natore’s Kadirabad cantonment area organized a reunion for the first time of its former students on Monday. University Vice-Chancellor Brigadier General Md. Shahinur Alam (SPP) was present as the Chief Guest on the occasion. The ceremony was held with cake cutting at the West Plaza of the Academic Building of the campus, a joyous procession in the campus premises, tree planting, memorial meeting and cultural programs. The memorial meeting was held at the Skylight Hall. It was conducted by the students of the English Department Abdur Rahman and Majia Akhtar Rithi. Also, University Treasurer Colonel Mohammad Hamidul Haque PSC (Retd.), Registrar Lieut. Colonel Sheikh Shamim Hossain (Retd.), Dean of Faculty of Science and Humanities Prof Dr. Kazi Khairul Islam, Proctor Prof Mohammad Golam Sarwar Bhunya, Assistant Prof Md Al-Amin, Associate Prof Md Hamidur Rahman and former students spoke at the meeting.
