Right-arm pacer Taskin Ahmed has gotten proposal to play for Dumbulla Aura in Lanka Premier League (LPL). Taskin Ahmed is now doing his best with a good form. He showed an extra-ordinary performance wearing the jersey of Bangladesh in the recently concluded series against their opponent teams. The right-arm pacer is now staying in Zimbabwe to play in Zim-Afro T-Ten League. He is playing for Bulawayo Braves. He bagged five wickets playing three matches for Bulawayo Braves. Taskin Ahmed confirmed to the news media he has gotten offer from Bulawayo Braves. His participation depends on the No Objection Certificate (NOC), which will be issued by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan and promising Mohammad Mithun will play for Galle Titans in the LPL. The LPL will start on July 30 and will come to an end on August 20. During this time Bangladesh Cricket team have no international tournament, match or series. But the coaching camp of Bangladesh Cricket team will start from July 31 marking the upcoming Asia Cup and ICC World Cup. So, it is not clear that the BCB will issue an NOC for Taskin Ahmed.
Earlier, Taskin Ahmed got proposal from Yorkshire to play in the County Cricket, the most prestigious domestic cricket competition of England. But the right-arm pacer could not take part in County Cricket as he was busy for Bangladesh Cricket team in the international cricket competitions. He also got offer from Multan Sultans to play for Pakistan Super League (PSL). But he refused to play for Multan Sultans as he was busy for Bangladesh Cricket team in the international cricket meets. He also got proposal from Lucknow Super Giants to play in Indian Premier League (IPL), the gala extravaganza of Indian cricket. But the BCB did not get him permission to play in IPL.
Meanwhile, promising cricketer Towhid Hridoy has also gotten offer from Jaffna Kings to play in LPL. Jaffna Kings proposed Hridoy to play some matches in LPL. The promising batter has revealed the BCB he wants to play some matches for Jaffna Kings in LPL.
