One killed in Gopalganj road accident

A motorcyclist was killed as his motorcycle hit a railings of a bridge in kashiani upazila of the district Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Wahidul Islam, 60, hailed from Narail district. He was a former BGB member. Officer-in-Charge of Vatiapara Highway Thana Khan Md Shariful Islam said the accident occurred in Pona bus stand area on Dhaka-Khulna Highway at around 11:30. Losing control of the motorcycle Wahidul Islam hit the railings of a bridge. He was brought to Kashiani 100-bed Hospital where the duty doctor declared him dead.
Body was handed over to his family members.
