Readers’ Voice: Lame excuse about constitution must be dropped

We are fed up with the lame excuse of constitution which Awami League is constantly saying for not holding the general election under a care taker government. It was Awami League which wrought havoc for CTG and when they realised that they may be defeated, with the stroke of a pen they abolished it.
Constitution is not the word of the Holy Quran, it could be changed when it is necessary, Awami League has become afraid knowing that they will lose because they have done so many misdeeds. In the last two general elections they grabbed the power without peoples mandate, the tactics were so deplorable, the last one was done in the middle of the night which earned the name “Nishi Rater Sarkar”.
Enough is enough, this time people must not let it happen again, we pray and believe that we will get our voting right back and justice will get the upper hand.
We pray to Almighty Allah to rescue us from this injustice and we believe He will respond.
