‘Young generation to lead Smart BD’

Food Minister Sadhan Chandra Majumder has said that the young generation will play the role of soldiers to transform the country into “Smart Bangladesh” from a digital one by 2041.
So, they should have to be competent for building developed, modern and Smart Bangladesh through the best use of their strength of modern education.
The minister came up with the observation while distributing tabs among the students of class nine and 10 of different schools and madrasas at Niamatpur Upazila Parishad Auditorium under Naogaon district as the chief guest on the tenth instant, reports BSS.
The tabs were given as gifts of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on behalf of the People Census and Household Census Project- 2021. A total of 390 students from 41 secondary schools and 24 madrasas in the upazila were given tabs as recognition for their respective brilliant result.
The chief guest urged the tab recipients to acquire knowledge about both home and abroad through the best uses of modern device.
Describing the smart phone or tab has both merits and demerits, he urged the students to receive merits as they have to be fit for becoming smart citizens.
Stressing the need for making the entire development sustainable, Sadhan Chandra said consistency of the present government is needed for ensuring sustainable development.
