2 youths arrested along with stolen van

Police of Morrelganj PS in Bagerhat district arrested 2 youths from the village Baraikhali within Baraikhali Union under Morrelganj Upaziln on Friday afternoon.
They are Ramiz Shaikh (22), son of one Dublu Shaikh and Bellal Shaikh (20), son of one Khokon Shaikh of village Baraikhali and according to their confessions; police recovered the stolen battery run van rickshaw from the behind of the office of Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) of Morrelganj.
They (thieves) disclosed to the police, they broke the locks of the van belonging to one handicapped Tawhidul Islam and stole it from the in front of Morrelganj Press Club on the same day at 2 pm. Being informed of matter 2 separate contingents of police conducted raids in the village Baraikhali, arrested the 2 thieves mentioned above and recovered the stolen van rickshaw.
Md. Sayeedur Rahman, Officer-in-charge of Morrelganj PS told, arrested Ramiz and Bellal are professional thieves. A case was already lodged with the PS against them.
