Afghanistan Captain Hashmatullah Shahidi was overjoyed after clinching the ODI series with a formidable lead of 2-0 in the three-match ODI series.
Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran amassed a record 256-run opening partnership which propelled Afghanistan to set 332 and clinch the match by a massive 142 runs.
Shahidi reckoned that his side has made huge improvements players sacrificed Eid for this series. The captain further said that his side made a huge comeback after a 546-run defeat in the one-off Test.
