5 people jailed for fraud case

The Manikganj Judicial Magistrate Court on Monday ordered to send five people including former local member Abbas Ali to jail in the case of attempted land embezzlement through fake documents in a place adjacent to Mahadevpur bus stand of Shibalaya Upazila. Abbas Ali is son of Azgar Ali of Vabanipur village. Others are Ashar Uddin (56), Md. Ansar (52), daughters Hosne Ara (41) and Begum (37).
According to the complaint, while the plaintiff Khandkar Akhtar Hamid Pawan is in possession of 76 percent of the land, 55 percent of the land of Mahadevpur Maujar SA Dag No- 1161, RS Khatian No- 229, RS 1597 Dag, the main accused Ali Abbas and his associates created fake documents and forgery. Attempts to embezzle.
On this complaint, a case was filed in the learned Judicial Magistrate Amli Court under section 468/470/471/474 of the Penal Code (CR Petition Case No. 284/Shi/2022) and after the police CID investigation, the incident was found truth.
When the accused appeared before the court on the scheduled date of July 3, the learned magistrate denied them bail and ordered them to sent jail.
