Ishwardi Railway Junction: Address of floating people

Many low-income people come to Ishwardi in search of livelihood. Most of them are working class.
The number of people who are looking for work is increasing day by day.
There are many of them who have lost their homes due to natural disasters and moved to the cities.
Many of these people have no place to hang their heads. One of the refuges of some such people is one of the largest Ishwardi Junction stations.
Around 15 people were seen lying in a row on platform 3 and 4 of the station late on Monday night. On platforms 1 and 2, it was seen that almost equal number of people were lying in the same way.
There are public toilets on platforms 1 and 2. There is also a shower facility. Four or five others were seen lying in front of him with their noses and mouths covered. Everyone was fast asleep.
It was learned that they are used to eat and drink at the footpath hotel next to the booking office.
This is how the day passes. Sometimes people give food packets on behalf of individuals or organizations at the station.
It also becomes the meal of the day. Apart from beggars and vagabonds, there are some floating people of Dimjur.
In the context of these floating people, Liberation War researcher Professor Abul Kalam Azad said that the main reason for so many floating people in our country is income inequality.
It is true that our per capita income has increased, but income inequality has not decreased.
People are constantly moving towards the city for various reasons, starting from river erosion, lack of relatives.
The government, however, has taken several steps to ensure social security. But it will take more time to get the benefits of these.
Apart from this, regional economic zones are being created in different regions of the country. If employment is created after these are created, the pressure of people in the city will be reduced.
But the most important thing to watch out for is that if income inequality is reduced, the floating people will no longer be seen.
