Neer takes joint lead in Asia Youth Chess

FM Manon Reja Neer of Bangladesh took joint lead in the points table with Rakhmatullaev Almas with 4.5 points after the sixth round games of the open U-18 category of Western Asia Youth Chess Championships which is now being held at Issaikkul Karamdu in Kyrgyzstan.
Rayan Rashid Mugdho earned 3.5 points out of six games and sharing the third position along with other two players in the open U-8 category.
The sixth round games were held on Wednesday with FM Manon Reja Neer beat Degenbaev Aziz of Kyrgyzstan in the U-18 group. FM Neer played with white pieces against the French Defence of Degenbaev and he won the game at 41st moves.
Besides, Rayan Rashid split point with Rajabov Abdurakhmon of Uzbekistan.
