Cute Women’s Handball League starts tomorrow

The Cute Women’s Handball League will start tomorrow at the Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium (SCMMANHS) in the city.
Marking the upcoming handball meet, a press conference was held at the conference room of the SCMMANHS on Sunday.
General Secretary of Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF) Asaduzzaman Kohinoor, Chairman of the Mousumi Industries Limited Kazi Rajib Uddin Ahmed Chapol, Vice-President of BHF Nurul Islam, Secretary of the League Committee Md Mokbul Hossain were present at the conference. Bangladesh Handball Federation will arrange the handball league, while Mousumi Industries Limited has sponsored the competition. The budget of the handball competition has been estimated at Taka seven lakh, while Mousumi Industries Limited has given Taka three lakh to BHF and the BHF will bear rest of the expenditure from its own fund.
A total of eight teams splitting into two groups will take part in the forthcoming handball competition. Dhaka Mariner Youngs Club, Dilkusha Sporting Club, Viqarunnisa Noon Sports Club, Gafur Beluch Smrity Sangsad have been billed in Group-A, while Madaripur Handball Training Centre, Arambagh Krira Sangha, Jamalpur Sports Academy, R.N. Sports Home have been placed in Group-B.
