Insaf Kayem Committee: Form national govt soon

Insaf Kayem Committee stages a rally in front of the Jatiya Press Club on Saturday, demanding ousting of the incumbent Awami League government and to form interim national government soon.

Insaf Kayem Committee on has demanded ousting of the present Awami League government and to form national government soon.
Poet and columnist Farhad Mazhar, convener of the committee, demanded this during a rally held in front of the National Press Club in the capital on Saturday.

Reza Kibira, President of Gono Odhikar Parishad, journalist leader and former President of National Press Club Shaukat Mahmud, Member Secretary of the Committee, and Senior Joint-Convener Dr. Farhad Hossain, (wife of late Adv. Khandaker Mahbub Hossain), among others, were present at the programme.

Farhad Mozhar said, “We are not doing politics so that we might go to power. But we want the people to be freed from this oppressed government.”

Reza Kibria said, “There are no rules of law and humanity in the country under this government.”
The leaders said that the people are suppressed widely under the AL government.

They alleged that there is no human right existing in the country now.

They asked the government to step down soon and form a national government to pave the way of holding a free, fair and impartial election in the country.

Journalist leader Jahangir Prodhan moderated the event.
