AL won’t get over 10 seats in polls under caretaker govt: BNP

Staff Reporter :
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Sunday said if the next national polls held under a caretaker government, the ruling Awami League will not get more than 10 seats.
Mirza Fakhrul said, “For this, the party’s (Awami League) General Secretary mentioned the caretaker government as a dead issue. But it is not, the caretaker government issue is a live issue. The whole world wants an inclusive election in Bangladesh. But it is impossible that an acceptable election be held under the AL government.”

Mirza Fakhrul made the remark while speaking as the chief guest at the Gazipur City BNP’s biennial conference.
