Two drivers implicated in Sylhet road crash case

A case has been filed against two drivers in connection with the terrible collision between a truck and a pickup van in Sylhet’s Dakshin Surma Nazirbazar in which 15 people were killed.
Abul Hossain, Officer-in-Charge (OC) (Investigation) of South Surma police station confirmed the information to the media on Thursday afternoon.
Ijazul of Bhatipara in Dirai has filed the case as the plaintiff. Currently, the two drivers are absconding.
Police are trying to trace the owner of the vehicle using the number plate.
The OC said that the accident took place on an empty road. It is assumed that the truck driver was sleeping.
