Pre-budget of Bhangura, Kulaura Municipality announced

The budget of Bhangura Municipality of Pabna of Tk 13 crores 57 lakh 10 thousand for the financial year 2023-2024 has announced .
Mayor Golam Hasnain Rasel announced this budget in the municipal auditorium on Thursday.
In this budget, the proposed income of Tk 5 crore 62 lakh 10 thousand in the revenue sector and Tk 7 crore 95 lacks in various development sectors of the municipality has been estimated. At the same time, the proposed expenditure in the revenue sector has been estimated at 5 crores 21 lakh 56 thousand and the expenditure in the development sector has been estimated at Tk 7 crore 95 lakh.
Among others Municipal Executive Engineer Md. Aminul Islam, Municipal Executive Officer Uttam Kumar Saha, Accounts Keeper Nazmul Huda, Panel Mayor Md. Barat Ali, councilors and local journalists were present in the budget session.
Kulaura (Moulvibazar) Correspondent adds: A pre-budget meeting was held on the revised and proposed budget for the financial year 2022-2023 and the proposed budget for the financial year 2023-2024 of Kulaura Municipality of Moulvibazar at the Municipal Hall on Thursday .
The programme was presided over by the Mayor of the municipality, Principal Sipar Uddin Ahmed . He said that in the welcome speech of the revised, proposed revenue and development budget of Tk 91 crore 33 lakh that the citizens have to pay taxes regularly if they want to get the desired development.
He sought the cooperation of all classes and professionals to implement the desired development of the city dwellers based on everyone’s opinion.
Mayor Principal Sipar Uddin highlighted the significant aspects of the pre-budget and said that in the next financial year, drains and footpaths on both sides of the main road of the city, drains necessary to remove waterlogging, a market and abattoir will be constructed at the cow market of School Chowmuhani. Besides, more importance will be given to the installation of road lights, establishment of educational institutions, scholarship, drain cleaning, mosquito control and sports and culture sector.
Under the direction of Municipal Executive Officer Sharadindu Roy, Municipal Accounts Officer Mohammad Panir Hossain Molla presented the revised budget for the fiscal year 2022-2023 and the proposed budget for the fiscal year 2023-2024.
Acting Chairman of Upazila Parishad Mawlana Fazlul Haque Khan Shahed, retired principal of Kulaura Government College Soumya Pradeep Bhattacharya Sajal, spoke as special guests on the proposed budget.
