New Nation GM’s father passes away

Md Haji Amir Hossain Fakir, father of Advocate Moazzem Hossain, General Manager of the English daily The New Nation, passed away at his residence in the village Bhaber Char, Gazaria, under Munshignaj district on Wednesday. He was 88.

He is survived by three sons, two daughters and a host of relatives, friends, and well-wishers to mourn his death.
He was buried in the Bhaber Char Eidgah Graveyard after Zuhr prayers.
