Rozina directed her first movie ready to release

Sheikh Arif Bulbon :
Noted film actress Rozina has completed final preparations for the release of her first directed movie (made with government grants) titled ‘Firey Dekha’.
Rozina informed that all preparations have been
completed for the release of the movie on June 16. The story, dialogues and screenplay of the movie are written by Rozina herself. However, Mujtaba Saud helped her
in this case. Rozina, Ilias Kanchan, Nirab, Sporshia and many others acted in different roles in the movie. Rozina said that on June 10, she has
organised a press conference at BFDC on the occasion of
the release of her movie ‘Firey Dekha’ at 4:00pm so
that all the artists and crews of the movie will be present.
While talking about making the movie for the first time, inviting the audience to watch the movie and other things, Rozina told this correspondent, “Before this I have produced dramas and telefilms. But this is the first time I have directed the movie. The feasibility of producing dramas and telefilms is not challenging, but it is more difficult to construct a story on a big
canvas like a movie; also making a movie about the story of 1971 liberation war. My childhood was spent in maternal grandfather’s house in Goalondo of Rajbari. I saw the liberation war with my own eyes. So the story of the liberation war seen with
my own eyes has come up in my movie ‘Firey Dekha’. Especially the young generation should watch this movie because of how hard we have liberated the country through bloody struggle. I am grateful to all the artists and crew
of this movie. They have helped me tremendously.”
It is mentioned that Rozina had previously produced the movies ‘Jibondhara’ and ‘Dolna’ from Rozina Films. Alamgir-Rozina starrer movie ‘Dolna’ directed by Shibli Sadiq is still very popular with the audience. The song titled ‘Tumi Aamar Koto Chena Seki Janona’ from this movie is still very popular with the audience. This song has become
a benchmark in Bangladeshi movie songs. The song was written by Moniruzzaman Monir and composed by Alam Khan. The song was rendered by Sabina Yasmin and Andrew Kishore.
Meanwhile, Rozina has built a beautiful mosque at a cost of two and a half million taka in Ward No 5 of Goalondo Municipality, which is full of her childhood memories. She named the Turkish-designed mosque after her mother – ‘Dosh Gombuj Khadiza Jame Masjid’. This mosque was inaugurated on the first of April last year after the completion of the construction work in two consecutive years.
