Shakib shines as Renegades win

World best Twenty20 international all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan shone with the cherry as his team Melbourne Renegades posted an easy five-wicket win over Brisbane Heat in their Twenty20 cricket match of the Big Bash League at the Docklands Stadium in Melbourne on Tuesday.
Batting first Brisbane Heat were bundled out for just 80 runs off 17.3 overs.
In reply, Melbourne Renegades romped home making 81 for the loss of five wickets when they had six overs to spare.
Shakib Al Hasan bowled extremely well and finished his superb spell as 4-0-13-4.
Besides, Shakib Al Hasan took a catch of AC McDermott of Brisbane Heat.
Andrew Flintoff of Brisbane Heat was run out by Shakib Al Hasan.
Later, Shakib Al Hasan failed to shine with the willow. He scored two runs from three balls.
Shakib Al Hasan was adjudged the Man of the Match for his outstanding bowling performance.
Shakib’s Melbourne Renegades team will play their next match against Adelaide Strikers on January 19 at the Docklands Stadium in Melbourne.
