Evacuation of illegal structures of Boral River in Bhangura

An operation was conducted to demolish the illegal structures built by occupying the Baral River in Bhangura of Pabna on Saturday. It was led by Upazila Nirbahi Officer and Executive Magistrate Mohammad Nahid Hasan Khan.
It has been reported that Motahar Hossain, Secretary of Par-Bhangura Union Parishad, was constructing a building in Tolatlipara Mohalla of Par-Bhangura Union of the Upazila.
Following the complaint of the villagers, the survey shows that the place is a river. As a result, the Upazila administration ordered not to construct a building there. Still that UP secretary continued the construction work. When news about this was published in various newspapers, the upazila administration decided to demolish the illegal structure. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mohammad Nahid Hasan Khan admitted the truth of the incident and said that there is no opportunity to occupy the place of the river and build a structure. So this campaign will continue in the future, he said.
