Mahfuz-Bubly starrer ‘Prohelika’ coming on Eid, Mahfuz as ‘Mona’ in pain of ‘Betrayal Love’

‘Prohelika’, directed by Chayanika Chowdhury and starring popular actors Mahfuz Ahmed and Shobnom Bubly, gears up for its grand release this upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.
The news of the movie’s release was shared by none other than actor Mahfuz Ahmed himself, who took to his Facebook account to unveil his character’s look from the movie.

The captivating poster featured a striking tagline, ‘Bhalobashar Droho’ (Betrayal Love), written in bold red, hinting at the intricate blend of romance and sorrow. Moreover, Mahfuz Ahmed’s fierce appearance in the poster left many viewers initially mistaking him for someone else; only to later realise the sheer intensity and versatility he brings to his character.

Sharing his thoughts about the poster, Mahfuz Ahmed expressed that the character look will change people’s perception of this movie from a regular romantic film.He shared, “The story of the movie ‘Prohelika’ holds many mysteries that will be unveiled only when the audience experiences it on the big screen.” Director Chayanika Chowdhury, reflecting on the poster, told the media, “Our lives are intertwined with mystery, as are our relationships. ‘Prohelika’ embodies this essence of mystery. The love story of Arpa and Mana is shrouded in enigma, and the audience will uncover the rest of the tale when they watch the movie. For now, we reveal the look of our protagonist, Mahfuz Ahmed, who brings a mesmerising performance that will captivate audiences. If all goes well, we are set to release the film during Eid.”
