Jahangir seeks one month to respond to ACC query

The Gazipur City Corporation (GCC) former mayor Md Jahangir Alam filed an application to the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) seeking one month for responding their query.

He sent the application for one month to the ACC’s Deputy Director Md Ali Akbar (Enquiry and Investigation) on Thursday.
Jahangir Alam prosecutor Sazzadul Islam confirmed the matter to the media.

Before that on Wednesday the ACC has summoned the former GCC mayor Jahangir Alam for questioning on charges of allegedly misappropriating of crores of taka in various development projects of the city corporation and transactions through fake bank accounts.
