Case against Pori Moni report Jul 5

A Dhaka court yesterday deferred submission of the investigation report in the case, former Dhaka Boat Club executive and businessman Nasir Uddin Mahmood filed against actress Pori Moni about assault, vandalism, murder attempt and threat.

Judicial Magistrate Rabeya Begum Dhaka fixed the new date as the investigating agency Criminal Investigation Department (CID) could not submit the report on Monday.

Earlier on July 19 of last year, the court directed the CID to investigate into the case filed against film actress Pori Moni. Nasir filed the case against Pori and two of her friends on July 6.

Other accused in the case are Fatema Tuz Jannat Boney and Zunayed Bogdadi Jimmy alias Jim.

According to the complaint, Pori and her friends were alcoholics. They used to visit famous clubs, get drunk and take liquor in parcels without making payment by threatening to file fake cases using their connection with police.
