Present govt labourer friendly

State Minister for Social Welfare Ashraf Ali Khan Khasru said the present government is a labourer friendly government as it has been implementing different pragmatic programs for improving the socio-economic condition of the working people.
“The incumbent government under the dynamic leadership of Premier Sheikh Hasina is designing and implementing various labourer-friendly programs to ensure the welfare of the working people side by side with updating and modernizing the Bangladesh labour act”, he said.
Khasru said these on the sixth instant while addressing at the general meeting of District CNG Drivers and Sramik Union at a local public hall in Netrakona as the chief guest, reports BSS.
Chaired by the convener of the election conducting committee of the Sramik union Gazi Muzammel Hussain Tuku, the meeting was addressed, among others.
by chairman of Netrakona Zila Parishad Asit Kumar Sarker Sazal, chairman of Netrakona Sader Upazila Parishad Ataur Rahman Manik and general secretary of district Bus Owners Association Arif Khan and president of district CNG drivers and Sramik union Sarwar Alam Rukon.
Highlighting many development programs undertaken and implemented by the government for steering the nation towards the progress and prosperity, the state minister said, the government led by prime minister Sheikh Hasina has been working relentlessly to build up the country as “smart and golden Bangladesh” free from hunger, poverty and exploitation.
