Two sisters killed in Muktaghhacha

Two sisters were killed in cyclone in Paratangi area of Muktagacha Town in Mymensingh.
The deceased are Muslim Uddin’s 10-year-old daughter Zereen Akhtar and Aminul Islam’s 6-year-old daughter Chan Moni. Both of them are cousins. This Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 a strong cyclone swept over Muktagacha Town.
During the cyclone, they went to pick mangoes in the courtyard of the house and the branch of the tree fell on them, killing Jerin Akhter on the spot. After taking Afrin Akhtar to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital, doctors declared him dead in the evening. Confirming the truth of the incident, Abdul Majeed, OC of Muktagachha police station said, he has inspected the scene and two children died after being crushed under the branches of the tree while picking mangoes.
