Sheikh Jamal defeat Prime Bank in DPL

Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Limited defeated Prime Bank Cricket Club by 13 runs in their Super League match of the Dhaka Premier League (DPL) at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city’s Mirpur on Sunday.

Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Limited took the second spot in the points table bagging 24 points from 14 matches
Sent into bat first, Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Limited piled up a fighting total of 276 for the loss of six wickets in the stipulated 50 overs and then all-out Prime Bank Cricket Club for 263 off 49.2 overs.

Sheikh Jamal had a good start as openers Saif Hassan and Shykat Ali put on together 63 runs in the opening stand before Shykat Ali (29) was dismissed by Alok Kapali.
Saif Hassan hit a terrific 83. His 102-ball innings had five sixes and three fours. He captured two wickets at the cost of 26 runs. Saif was adjudged the Man of the Match for his all-round performance.
