Rohit should take a break from IPL: Gavaskar

Indian great Sunil Gavaskar has urged Rohit Sharma to take a break from the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) to keep himself fit and fresh for the upcoming World Test Championship (WTC).

Rohit-led Mumbai was defeated by Chennai Super Kings, the captain fell for a duck which is the 16th time for getting out for nought by any batter in IPL history.
Gavaskar stated a break could bring changes to Rohit’s performance as he is set to lead India for the WTC title against Australia.
“I would say that Rohit should maybe take a break for the time being, and keep himself fit for the World Test Championship final,”
