Bangladesh Cricket squad to leave Dhaka split into two groups

Bangladesh Cricket squad splitting into two groups will leave Dhaka for England to play three One Day International (ODI) matches against Ireland at Chelmsford in United Kingdom. The three-match ODI series is part of ICC ODI Super League.

The first contingent of Bangladesh Cricket squad are scheduled to leave Dhaka today midnight. The second group of Bangladesh Cricket squad will leave for United Kingdom on May 2. Besides, some officials of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) will leave Dhaka for United Kingdom on May 3 or May 4.

Wicketkeeper-batter Litton Das, who played for Kolkata Knight Riders in Indian Premier League (IPL) recently, will go to United Kingdom with the second Group.
On the other hand, ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan, who is now staying with his family at United States of America (USA) will join the Bangladesh squad from USA.
It may be mentioned that Bangladesh Cricket squad took part in a three-day conditioning camp in Sylhet recently before they will play against Ireland.

Left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman, who is now staying in India to play for Delhi Capitals in IPL will return Dhaka soon. Then he will join Bangladesh squad.

Bangladesh Cricket squad: Tamim Iqbal (Captain), Litton Das, Rony Talukdar, Najmul Hossain Shanto, Towhid Hridoy, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Yasir Ali, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Taijul Islam, Ebadot Hossain, Shoriful Islam, Mustafizur Rahman, Hasan Mahmud and Mrittunjoy Chowdhury.
