Two youths drown in Barishal

Two school children died during taking bath in separate rivers in Wazirpur and Muladi upazilas of Barishal .
The dead body of Yamin Khan Avi (13), who went missing in the river to bathe with his father in Muladi Upazila, has been recovered on Thursday morning.
Deceased Avi is the son of Anisur Rahman Khan, a resident of Terchar area of Muladi upazila and a student of class eight of Ideal School, Dhaka.
Family sources said that Avi recently came to Muladi from Dhaka with his parents as there was a wedding ceremony at their village home.
After the wedding ceremony, he went to bathe in the Nayavanguli river with his parents on Tuesday noon. After going down to the river, Avi suddenly disappeared due to the pull of the speedy current.
Fire service divers recovered his dead body from the river on Thursday (April 27) late morning. Later, the police handed it over to the family.
Muladi Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Tushar Kanti Mandal confirmed the matter.
