Jamaat Sec Gen. arrested in subversion case

Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Mia Golam Parwar was shown arrested in a subversion case on Thursday as Metropolitan Magistrate Rajesh Chowdhury of Dhaka CMM Court granted a police plea lodged seeking the arrest.

Mia Parwar, who is in the jail after he has been arrested in a case filed under the Anti-terrorism Act, was produced in the court yesterday and police pleaded to show him arrested in the subversion case filed with capital’s Paltan Police Station on 2018, and place him on 10-day remand.
