2 women rescued, 3 accused arrested in Mymensingh

On the orders of 2 APBN Muktagacha Commander Ali Ahmad Khan (Additional DIG), Operation and Intelligence Wing of 2 APBN Muktagacha was stationed at Garobazar under Ghatail police station of Tangail on Tuesday at to conduct operations related to drug recovery, online gambling and human trafficking.
To check anti-social activities, online gambling and human trafficking. and drug trade which are going on in Anik Nagar Park under Ghatail Police Station 2 APBN Muktagacha Commander Ali Ahmad Khan (Additional DIG) led a operation and Intelligence Wing of 2 APBN Muktagacha there on Tuesday.
On the basis of secret information, after searching the cottage room inside the park, Md. Hamid Ali (Kalam) (30) Supervisor of Anik Nagar Park, Thana-Ghatail, District-Tangail, Narayani Burman (34), husband-deceased: Prakash Burman, Sang-Kaloir , Thana-Nachol, District-Chapainawabganj and Md. Noor Mohammad (28), father- Md. Amir Uddin, mother-deceased Farmani Nesha, Sang- Hatimara, Thana-Ghatail, District-Tangail were arrested .
The rescued were Soma (20), husband-Md. Akash, Sang-Radhakanai, Thana-Fulbaria, District-Mymensingh, Mrs. Shanta Islam (30), husband- Md. Siraj Mia, Sang- Gouripur, Thana-Sherpur, District-Sherpur. The arrested accused were handed over to Ghatail police station and regular cases were filed against them under the Suppression and Prevention of Human Trafficking Act and the Narcotics Control Act.
