Krishak Dal leader, another one killed motorcycle accident in Barishal

Ziaul Hasan Shamim (53), convener of Barishal city Krishakdal on Barishal-Dhaka highway and another one person named Liton Mia (58) were killed in motorcycle in Agoiljhara upazila of the district accident on Tuesday April 25, 2023.

Ziaul was killed on the Barisal-Dhaka highway near Surabhi filling station in Kashipur area of the city while talking on mobile phone on Tuesday (April 25) around 10 am.

Ripon, a resident of Habiganj Upazila of Sylhet, who was driving another motorcycle collided with the motorcycle of Ziaul, was seriously injured and admitted to Barishal Sher-i Bangla Medical College Hospital in a coma till this report.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Barishal Metropolitan Airport Police Station Helal Uddin, confirmed the report.

Sub Inspector (SI) of the airport police station Shahdat Hossain after visiting the spot said Shamim was going towards Nathullabad by motorcycle from Kashipur Chowmatha. Ripon was also going to Habiganj from Patuakhali diving another motorcycle.

Locals rescuing the both sent to Barishal Sher-i Bangla Medical College Hospital. Shamim died there around 12:30 pm and Ripon was undergoing treatment there.

Dead body of the victim sent to post-mortem report after lodging a case of unnatural death in this incident.
