Leaders and activists of Maruf Social Welfare Foundation distributed semai, rice, pulse, oil, sugar, saree, punjabi, cash taka and other daily essentials among the 800 disabled and poor families in Kotalipara upazila as Eid gifts. Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Ferdous Wahid handed over the Eid items including semai, sugar, milk, rice and cash Taka among the disabled and poor families on Tuesday morning. The distribution function was held at the Maruf Social Welfare Foundation hall room in Bandal village of the upazila, reports BSS. Municipal Mayor Matiar Rahman Hazra, Chairman of Maruf Social Welfare Foundation Mohammad Lovelu Sheikh, Councilor Rakibul Hasan, General Secretary of the Maruf Social Welfare Foundation Bashir bin Samsuddin, social worker Liakat Hossain Lebu and other dignitaries of the area, among others, were present.
