Meet on Energy transitions,  rational electricity tariff held

Consumers Association of Bangladesh (CAB)  proposed alternatives to hiking gas and electricity prices and urged the government not to increase the tariffs.
An exchange views meeting on Energy transitions & rational electricity tariff  snd renewable energy development  wirh civil socity, journalist at Kishoreganj ‘s  Public library reading hall on Thursday afternoon. CAB  district president Alam Sarowar Tito presided over the meeting.
Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC)  technical committee has recommended raising the gas price by 20 percent on average and electricity price by 58 percent.It was addressed among others by Professor M.A Gani, senor advocate Nasiruddin Farooki,  District public library general secretary Md.Abdul Latif,   senior journalist Mostafa Kamal,   Veteran freedom fighter Aiyab Bin Haider,  Women leader and CAB vice president Bilkis Begum,  Kishoreganj Press Club  convenor lutfur Rashid Rana,   TIB -Sanak.
