Man hacked to death in Kishoreganj over family feud

A man hacked to death and two others injured at Josodal in Kishoreganj sadar on Sunday morning over family feud. .
The victim identified as Manzil Mia (50), son of Bashiruddin Miah.
Manzil Miah’s sister Asma Akhtar (45), and her son Mizan (25) were injured in the incident.
Locals and police sources said, Siraj Uddin of the same village often called Manzil Miar’s nephew Mizan ‘thief’. On Friday afternoon, there was a hot talk between the two. As a result of this, on Sunday morning when the quarrel started again, Mizan’s uncle Manzil was hacked to death by the opponents. Josodal UP Chairman Imtiaz Sultan Rajan said that, Siraj Uddin often called Mizan a ‘thief’ in relation to his grandson. On Friday, there was a altercation between the two. Knowing the matter, he took the initiative to resolve it. The two sides were supposed to settle on Sunday. But before that, Mizan’s uncle Manzil Miah was killed in the attack of the opponent. Mizan and his mother Asma were injured. The injured were taken to Shaheed Syed Nazrul Islam Medical College Hospital (SSNIMCH).
